Wire ribbon roses on a layout with Amie Taylor

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 1 Sheet of Cardstock
  • 5 different coordination pieces of pp, these will all be cut to different sizes so if you have scraps you may be able to use them.
  • Wire edge ribbon - if you don't have this big flowers or another embellishment will do.
  • Large Button or Large Brad
  • Other embellishments to suit your page
  • Alphas for title
  • Journalling spot.
  • 6 x 4 Portrait orientated photo.

Step 1. Get your 5 different patterned papers and cut them to these sizes
A 7.5 inches x 10.5inches
B 8.5 inches x 8.5 inches
C 8inches x 3.5 inches
D 8.5 inches x 3 inches
E 4.5 inches x 12 inches
Distress any or all edges of the pp.
Step 2. Now the way you place your PP on the page isup to you.... it is alot of pp so I just sort of let it fall on the page and it looked good. I straightend it all up though LOL. Staple it all down and stick your photo on top in the middle of it all
Step 3. If you are using the wire edge ribbon, you will need to pull the wire on only 1 edge of the ribbon gathering itall up and then gather it around and around until it looks like a flower LOL my instructions suck but if you can master it they look great on presents and your LAYOUTS I am just trying to find a tutorial to explain it better.
Step 4. Stick your flower down on the bottom left hand corner of the photo and the pp. Embellish with a button or whatever you would like to use.
Step 5. Put your title in either the top left of the LO or the bottom right which every looks the best for you depending on the pp you have used. Place your journalling spot on the top right hand side about 2 inches from the top, do your journalling and your finished.
Do whatever else takes your fancy to make the LO your own, can't wait to see your creations I am off to finish mine NOW
