RETREAT 14 Recipe Scrap 2 cooked by Kylene

you will need:-

• 3 x portrait style wallet size photos
• 1 x Background cardstock
• 5 x coordinating patterned papers (2 x double sided patterned papers would be perfect)
• PP ‘A’ - 5” x 11”
• PP ‘B’ – 9” x 6”
• PP ‘C’ – 10.5” x 4.5”
• PP ‘D’ – 12” x 1” or you could use ribbon
• PP ‘E’ – Bracket end pp approx 2” x 11.5”
• ½ x 6” circle shaped journal tag
• Small journal tag and other embellishments to suit.
• Alpha’s for title.

let’s create:-

1. Trim all patterned papers as above. Ink, distress, sand, doodle, corner round edges, or don’t – whatever takes your fancy.
2. Place PP ‘A’ vertically approx 1” from Right side of layout with approx ½” from top and bottom.
3. Place PP ‘B’ horizontally on right side of layout, approx 2.5” from bottom and 3.5” from top of layout. Right edge should be flush with right edge of cardstock. Don’t stick top down yet.
4. Slip large journal tag slightly under top of PP ‘B’ to overlap PP ‘A’
5. Place PP ‘C’ horizontally over centre of PP ‘B’ with right edge flush to right side of layout.
6. Place PP ‘D’ or ribbon across page approx 1cm from bottom edge of PP ‘C’
7. Place Bracket edge or other pp strip ‘E’ vertically on angle on Right side of layout overlapping all other patterned papers.
8. Randomly position 3 photos next to each other starting from left side of PP ‘C’. Bottom of photos will slightly overlap PP ‘D’ or ribbon.
9. Position journal tag and other embellishments at bottom right corner of 3rd photo to overlap bracket and other patterned papers.
10. Title on large journal tag above photos.
11. Finish of your layout to suit, and hang so everyone can admire your creation.
